Seen at the 2023 China International Consumer Products Expo: the island province of Hainan attracts the attention of jewel manufacturers as an excellent location in China to set up jewelry factories. Hainan offers investing jewelry factories support in tax and infrastructure. The developing jewelry industry in Hainan is expected to turn the province into a true gem of global trend.
At the 2023 China International Consumer Products Expo, jewelry exhibitors are rushing to get a head start at the Hainan Free Trade Port. They believe the tax measures and infrastructure supports there will create new opportunities for a global jewelry industry chain.
Zhang Siran Haikou said "If you're looking for a place to see the future of manufacturing here in the island province of Hainan, this jewelry assembly line is definitely worth a visit."
This production line of jadeite imported to China from Myanmar, was drawn by the tax policies of Haikou's Integrated Free Trade Zone and has been up and running since 2021.
Profiting from the support in tax and infrastructure, jewelry manufacturers are looking forward to streamlined industrial standards.
Mao Xiangqun,,Operations Director, Source Mine Feibo Supply Chain (Hainan) Co., said "By entering the market through completely regulated channels, we are able to issue invoices and establish our own brand. We want to build a raw jadeite trading center, a design center, and a processing factory to standardize the jadeite industry in China. We also want to create culture-based intellectual properties in shops at tourist attractions in Hainan."
Hainan Free Trade Port is also laying grounds for local brands with global appeal. At the 2023 Hainan Expo, exhibitors have been showcasing cutting-edge designs inspired by traditional culture and environment protection.
